Stay Free Enterprise exists because one founder needed a resource she could not find. This is the short version of how that turned into a company built around one idea: freedom should not be something you have to earn twice.
She did everything right, and the system still said no.
There was a year where the math simply stopped working. Good credit on paper, a business that was actually growing, and still: declined. Not because of anything she had done wrong, but because the systems that decide who gets funded, who gets approved, and who gets to move forward were built to reward people who already had a head start.
She got the same runaround a lot of founders get: vague reasons, no real explanation, a system that expected her to accept it quietly and move on.
So she did not accept it. She learned the rules nobody hands you at the start, the actual ones, and then she built the company she wished she had been able to call.
Freedom turned out to be a series of small, correct decisions.
Fixing what the credit bureaus had wrong. Learning which lenders actually work with growing businesses instead of only established ones. Saying no to advice that sounded good but did not hold up under the actual law. None of it was fast. All of it added up.
By the time she came out the other side, she had built something more useful than a comeback story: a process. A real one, repeatable, honest, and legal, that she could hand to someone else standing where she used to stand.
The palm is where you are going. The pin is where you are.
